David Puett graduated from The Atlanta Institute of Music and is a product of their rigorous Guitar Program. His degree includes a background of Jazz, Rock, and Classical styles. In February 2005, David began teaching guitar and bass with Doug Kees Music Services. Along with teaching David is a member of Newnan’s own Kris Youmans Band, an original Americana band in which he plays guitar, and he has also done numerous solo performances for special events, corporate openings, and weddings. One of David’s other passions is recording. He has a personal recording studio in his home and takes great pride in recording and producing albums for his own bands as well as doing the studio work for other local artists. David is an all around musician and passes his passion and love for music along to his students.
